OVERVIEW
Our Place came to Prime Studio with a tricky ask - they wanted to develop a multi-purpose pan that would replace up to 8 different items of cookware.
It needed to be big enough to roast a chicken, shallow enough to flip an egg, and be able to steam your veggies and cook your pasta - the ultimate multi-tasker. That’s just the kind of challenge we like!
We embarked on a long ideation voyage and the result was the best-selling Always Pan which took the internet by storm.

When Our Place approached us to develop a new multi-functional piece of cookware we knew we would have to conduct a thorough research and ideation phase to make sure we were identifying the features that were important to the target users we had identified. We also knew that the visual positioning for this brand was going to be a key factor in its success.
So, we created multiple concepts exploring different aesthetics, features and configurations before settling on the final design which we confirmed via full-size CNC aluminum prototypes. We then assisted Our Place throughout the commercialization process - liaising with the manufacturing vendors, checking samples, adjusting details etc..
