OVERVIEW
For Goby we designed a toothbrush which has all the features you need and none that you don't. Coupled with a patented USB charging system these brushes will lead the way to better oral hygiene at an affordable price.
Clean design, Clean mouth
We started this project with an in-depth research and testing study of the competitive landscape along with consulting with the NYU School of Dentistry to really understand what features and specifications contribute to an increased efficacy. And we also conducted user interviews to uncover the pain-points of electric toothbrushes (cord management, charging base cleanliness etc..) before we even put pen to paper to start designing.
Once we had that information in place it was a straightforward industrial design process encompassing Conceptualization, Prototyping, Testing, Engineering and Manufacturing Liaison to get to the final launch product. Along the way we also helped Goby with the production of assets and a pitch deck to help them secure their seed round of VC funding.
