OVERVIEW
Adventure Ready Brands came to us to develop a suite of products to solve the issue of maintaining great personal care in the great outdoors. The goal was to respect the "Leave No Trace ethic" and to embrace a "Just Add Water" design philosophy - think soap flakes, compressed towelettes, toothpaste tablets, and similar innovations.
After lots of brainstorming and exploration, we developed 5 SKUs - a toiletry kit, a personal clean capsule, a trowel toilet kit, a dental care kit, and a camp kitchen kit. The line was very well-received and was picked up by outdoor goods powerhouse REI for launch.

Mapping the Adventure Path
We started by identifying different camper types and personas (like backpackers vs. car campers) and mapping out their specific needs and pain points. This helped us uncover several areas of opportunity where smart design could really make a difference in the wilderness experience.
Next, we conducted a thorough market audit of existing products and analogous categories, giving us insight into where innovation was possible. We then moved into concept development through sketches and prototypes where we explored various kit form factors and carrying options while considering real camp usage scenarios - how people would store, access, and use these products in different outdoor environments.
Throughout the process, we maintained our focus on creating products that were practical for anyone who loves the outdoors but doesn't want to sacrifice comfort or environmental responsibility. The result are comprehensive camping kits that solve real problems while respecting both user needs and nature itself.
So, when nature calls - be Adventure Ready.
