WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are searching for a self-starting Studio Administrator who can both lead administrative operations at Prime Studio and assist with some of our social media content and marketing efforts.


We are a multi-faceted design agency working on product, packaging and branding projects, and as such have a variety of support needs for the design team and studio itself, so we’re looking for someone with at least 3-4 years experience in a professional office environment. An understanding of creative studios, project management and an interest in the design field is not required but a big plus.


You will be the front line of Prime Studio and be responsible for answering the phone, dealing with deliveries, managing incoming emails and scheduling the studio’s various activities so you should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an outgoing personality.


We are looking for someone who can come up with their own solutions to basic yet cumbersome challenges - this might include figuring out what supplies & materials we will need in the near future for particular projects, hunting down a lost FedEx with customer service or researching a company’s background. You'll also work closely with our bookkeeper to ensure we're on top of our bills and incoming mail.


From a marketing perspective you'll be helping to draft blog post updates and newsletters, keeping track of our press recognition and tracking our SEO so some knowledge of Google Adwords and Analytics is important but we're happy to teach you some tricks too.

YOU SHOULD HAVE

At least 3-4 years of professional office experience.


A High School Diploma or Bachelors degree (preferred).


Experience supporting a fast-paced business in any capacity and an ability to be self-directed to solve problems.


Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize as required.


Outgoing personality with a proactive can-do attitude.


A good understanding of Google Suite, the Apple ecosystem (MacOS, Pages/Numbers), Adobe CC and be generally tech-savvy.


Currently we are working 3 days a week (Tues/Wed/Thurs) in our midtown studio and are remote on Mondays and Fridays (optional). This is not a remote position so the ability to work with the team in person at our studio is required.

COMPENSATION

This role will initially be freelance leading to a full-time salaried position. We want to make sure we're a good fit for you and vice-versa before we tie the knot.


Compensation will be commensurate with experience and role fit.
