Prime FC, the U14 girls soccer team we sponsor, finished up an unbeaten season with a resounding 6-1 win in the FHYAA senior girls championship game this weekend.

Very happy to report that Prime FC, the U14 girls soccer team we sponsor, ended the regular season with yet another win putting us in first place in the league.
9 games, 9 wins, 7 shut-outs, 45 goals scored, 3 goals against – pretty impressive stuff.
On to the playoffs now.

….. but it came at a big cost as one of our best defenders fractured her ankle in the game and is out for the rest of the season. We all wish her a speedy recovery.

Prime FC 2012 – We’re on Fire !
09/24/12Amazing result this weekend – a 7-0 rout of Forest Hills Orthodontics ! They didn’t even get a shot on target. As team sponsors we’re very happy, as head coach I’m ecstatic.

09/18/12The girls of Prime FC soccer team came through again this weekend with a hard fought 1-0 win on Saturday. Outstanding play by our goalkeeper to save a penalty and keep us with a clean sheet.

This weekend was the start of the season for Prime FC the U-14 girls soccer team we sponsor (and I coach) in the FHYAA. Unfortunately our scheduled game on Saturday was rained out but we had an emphatic 4-0 win on Sunday to kick off the season. Let’s hope the girls can go all the way.
Prime FC – Season Finale

So unfortunately the fairytale end to the season wasn’t to be as we lost our semi-final 2-1 on Saturday to the eventual champions.
On the bright side though it meant I had Sunday free so we visited Orchard Beach Park in the Bronx, first time I’d ever been there and it was a gorgeous day for it.
Time to start planning the campaign for next year…….
Prime FC – Update
11/03/11Haven’t been reporting too much on the progress of Prime FC, the U-13 girls soccer team we sponsor, because it’s not been one of our better seasons to be honest. We finished the league in a credible 4th place having played one game less then the other teams due to weather cancellations. The championship playoff’s are in full swing now though and we won our first game last night in fine style – a spirited 4-2 defeat of Chariot Van Lines.
On to the weekend now – semi-final game on Saturday night and, if it all goes to plan, the final on Sunday.
