Lindsay is someone who holds a very dear place in our hearts here at Prime Studio. She started as an intern back in 2005 just when we got our first big kitchen gadgets project – The Joy of Cooking tools. It turned out that cooking is one of Lindsay’s big passions (she even has her own culinary blog), as it is mine, so we soon bonded whilst designing the line. She fit into our office so well that we ended up hiring her full time (note for those students out there reading this – see, it does happen sometimes !). She was with us for 4 years and was an huge asset for our office before she left to explore new adventures. We still miss her.

After the break see what Lindsay had to say about her time at Prime“I started as an intern at Prime in 2005 and immediately found my ideal design home where I was taken under Stuart’s wing and at the same time given the opportunity to be an integral part of the design process.  I got a chance to work on some really amazing projects in my time there; the Axe Detailer, All, Tumi T-Tech, Head Chefs and Crock-Pot to name a few. I stayed on for over four years before leaving just last May when I said farewell to the team and moved with my husband, Jason, to Germany (a type design fellowship for him and sebatical for me), where I continue to freelance, work with Jason on his font, and travel as much as I can.  I’m loving the change and all the new experiences but still miss the gang.  In fact, I think it was harder to leave Prime than it was to leave New York!”
